Private Referrals Should you require to be referred for a Private Consultation, you will need to do the following:
- attend an appointment with the GP to discuss
- book your own private appointment with the Consultant of your choice
- inform the Doctor who is writing the referral of the name of the Consultant you will be seeing
- collect the referral letter from the Surgery
- be responsible for payment of any costs incurring from your private appointment
Private Medicals All private medicals (ie. HGV medical, PSV medical, Jockey medical, Driving medical etc.) incur a charge. We request that 50% of the cost of the medical is paid in advance before we can confirm your medical appointment.
Fees Certain services provided by your Doctor are NOT covered by the NHS and you will be asked to pay a fee for:
- Private Sick Note
- Insurance Claim Forms
- Private Medicals
- Private Letters
- Fitness to Drive/Fly Certificates
- Pre-Employment Medicals
- HGV/PSV Medicals
- BUPA/WPA/PPP etc. Claim Forms
Please ask at reception for current prices. The above services will take between 4 to 6 weeks to be completed by a GP Partner. Due to high volumes they may sometimes take longer.
