FRIENDS AND FAMILY TEST (FFT)

 

From the 1st December 2014, all GP practices are to undertake the NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT). This test is a feedback tool to support the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience that can be used to improve service. This test is continuous, it is not a one off survey.

 

We would be extremely grateful if you would answer the two questions, it will not take too long and is anonymous. The first question is a standard question that all GP practices are to ask, which asks if you would recommend the practice to your family and friends if they require a similar service or treatment. The second question has been chosen by the practice and is an optional comments box for you to complete if you so wish.

 

Only the data from question 1 will be sent to NHS England for them to publish the responses from our practice on a monthly basis. The practice will also publish the data from both questions on their website. This will be in an anonymised format and will also be on a monthly basis.

 

The more responses we get from you, our patients, the more we will be able to understand your views on how to make improvements to the service we offer you.

Friends and Family Feedback

Response to Questionnaires

Our appointments system is monitored on a weekly basis. We are aware that the demand for appointments, at times, outstrips our capacity. We have worked hard to implement a variety of appointments including:

  • Triage
  • Minor illness nurse appointments
  • Advanced practitioner appointments

We have a range of clinicians working within the practice to offer a wealth of services to our patients. We operate these services over both sites to enable patients to attend either site.

 

We have now upgraded our telephone system to assist patients to access the practice with more ease. 

  

Thank you very much for taking the time to complete the Friends and Family Questionnaires, feedback is important to the practice, it assists us in implementing changes or improvements that may be needed.
