Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group

Doncaster Clinical Commissionsing Group (DCCG) replaces Doncaster Primary Care Trust (PCT) and is the local organisation that helps to plan, develop and organise all primary care services (GP Practices, District Nurses, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Nursery Nurses, Pharmacists, Opticians, Dentists, Chiropody and Family Planning) around the needs of local people.

Doncaster CCG is responsible for approximately 91,000 people registered with GP's in its geographical area.

From April 2013 NHS England changed the funding and administration of GP Practices.

All GP Practices in Doncaster now work in constituencies or localities.  The Mayflower Medical Practice is in the South East Constituency. These constituencies are under the umbrella of Doncaster CCG.

The South East group is made up of Doncaster GP’s who are on the board with GP’s and Practice Managers attending regular meetings to discuss the new and existing services that are being designed or updated to help residents of Doncaster with healthcare needs. Further information on Doncaster Clinical Commissioning Group can be found on www.doncasterccg.nhs.uk.
